Facebook has it's merits as well, Jules. It really depends on how you use it. I reconnected to some old school mates, and just today I was at a funeral and got the facebook accounts from my mom's Goddaughter (and her daughter) to reconnect with, since they are currently living in Japan. Of course, there's drama and the potential for game addiction, but that fades as the newness fades. Just keeping in touch is nice, and miscellaneous little updates can give you a window to their world that you didn't have before.

Only look at my face book page when people I know ( more old class mates) want to be friends don't go on it much though.

Did I say that?? ... I am now on facebook, unbelievable!! ... I am not sure how long I will stay, still trying to work out the whole privacy thing and who sees what ..lol ... it feels confusing after forums, still I shall give it a decent go
I agree with you too Nick, seems it can be useful if you ignore all the meaningless comments from folk you hardly know ..lol
I will never touch farmville or any other game .. I hate all that kind of stuff
